UGC NET Tourism?
The UGC NET (University Grants Commission –
National Eligibility Test) in Tourism Administration and Management
is conducted to determine the eligibility for:
- Phd
- Assistant Professorship
- Junior Research Fellowship (JRF)
in Tourism Studies across Indian universities and colleges.
This exam is ideal for postgraduates in
Tourism, Travel, or Hospitality disciplines who wish to enter academics or
research.

Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification:
Master’s Degree in Tourism, Travel, Hospitality, Hotel Management, or
allied subjects with at least 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/OBC/PwD).
- Age Limit for JRF: 30
years (relaxation for reserved categories)
- No age limit for Assistant Professor eligibility
